Modern Slavery Statement
A formal statement of the steps we have taken — and continue to take — to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps that Axia Computer Systems Ltd has taken, and continues to take, in the relevant financial year to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or in any of our supply chains.
1. Our organisation
Axia Computer Systems Ltd is a Watford-based managed service provider supplying IT support, solutions and cloud services to businesses across Hertfordshire, London and the surrounding counties. Our staff are based in the UK and we engage a defined set of suppliers, contractors and partners to support the delivery of services to our clients.
2. Our supply chains
Our supply chains involve the procurement of IT hardware, software licences, cloud and connectivity services, professional services and occasional specialist sub-contractor support. We expect all of our suppliers, contractors and partners to share our commitment to ethical conduct and to uphold the standards set out in this statement and our related policies.
3. Our policies
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery is underpinned by a suite of related policies, including our Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. Taken together, these set the standards we expect of our staff, suppliers and partners, and the routes through which concerns can be raised safely and in confidence.
4. Due diligence
We take a risk-based approach to supplier due diligence. New and renewing suppliers are assessed on their own commitments to ethical sourcing, fair employment and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Where concerns are identified we work with the supplier to address them and, where necessary, terminate the relationship. All new employees are required to demonstrate their right to work in the UK before employment begins, and we pay at least the National Minimum / Living Wage in line with UK employment law.
5. Training and awareness
We make our policies available to all staff on joining and on request. Managers are briefed on the indicators of modern slavery and on how to escalate concerns through our Whistleblowing Policy. We will continue to develop training, briefing materials and internal communications as our size and risk profile evolve.
6. Effectiveness
We monitor the effectiveness of the steps we take by tracking right-to-work checks, reviewing any whistleblowing reports raised under our Whistleblowing Policy, and reviewing supplier onboarding and renewal. Any incidents or material risks identified through these channels are reported to senior management, who ensure they are acted upon.
Approval
This statement was approved by the Board of Directors of Axia Computer Systems Ltd and is reviewed and updated at least annually.
